Composition:
Each capsule contains:
Rose hip (Rosa canina) extract ………… 250 mg

Pharmacological actions:
Rose hip extract contains polyphenols and triterpenoids which help to relieve joint inflammation and reduce joint damage. Anti-inflammatory action has also been attributed to high quantities of galactolipid. It is shown to be chondroprotective and regenerative when tested on human chondrocytes.

Rose hip and its constituents attenuate inflammatory response in different cellular systems (macrophages, PBLs and chondrocytes). It down-regulates catabolic process associated with osteoarthritis (OA) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA) that provide for cartilage protection.
The evidence based research showed that it can reduce pain of osteoarthritis sufferring patients after taking rose hip extract for three months. Osteoarthritis of the hip or knee treatment with rose hip resulted in a significant reduction in pain after 3 weeks and significant reduction in disability, stiffness and severity of the disease after 3 months of treatment.
