Each capsule contains
Brucea javanica (Ya Dan Zi) defatted seed extract ……………….. 200 mg
The active principles are Bruceine A, B, C, D, E, F and Yadanziosides A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, N,O . They are terpenoids and quassinoid glycosides. Their effect include clearing away heat and dampness, killing intestinal parasite and detoxification. According to researches presented by American Chemical Society, University of Illinois and National Cancer Institute, the herb contains 11 unique components. One of those components is called flazin, and it was able to inhibit the development of cancerous abnormalities in the breast cells of mice.
● Chronic diarrhea due to giardiasis

No significant side effect in recommended dosage. In some cases nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain, sensation in the heaviness in the abdomen and diarrhea due to over-stimulation of gastrointestinal tract.
● Lactating mother

2 to 5 years – one fourth capsule
6 to 11 years – one half capsule
12 years and above – one capsule
In mild case, once daily at bed time for 5 consecutive days is enough. But in severe case, twice daily before meal for 3-5 days is more effective or as directed by physician.
Yadanzi can be used only in amoebic dysentery. For the treatment of mixed infection, it should be used in combination with Diarstat® or antibiotics like ampicillin, norfloxacin, etc.
