Anti-hypertensive

Pharmacological actions:
Plantago major: Leaves contain glucoside aucubin. Urosolic acid, N-hentriacontane, steryl ester and b-sitosterol were isolated from the whole plant. They were found to reduce arterial blood pressure.
Moringa oleifera: Alkaloid, niazinin, niazimicin, niaziminin and gum present in the plant. Flowers contain amorphous base. The direct depressant action of these compounds exhibit isolated preparations tested is thus hypotensive and bradycardiac effects observed in vivo.
Terminalia arjuna: Arjuna is beneficial for angina and poor coronary circulation.
Allium sativum: It can lower blood pressure via its cholesterol lowering effect.
The ability of the above combination is to increase the control rate in hypertension and to prevent the development of complication.

Indication: Treatment of Hypertension
Dosage:
1. For severe hypertension
(>160/100 mmHg at age 20, 170/110 mmHg at age 50) – one tablet three times daily half an hour before meal
2. For moderate hypertension
(between 140/90 mmHg and 160/100 mmHg at age 20, 160/95 mmHg and 170/110 mmHg at age 50) – one tablet two times daily half an hour before meal
3. For mild hypertension
(140/90 mmHg at age 20, 160/95 mmHg at age 50) – one tablet once daily half an hour before meal
Caution: If pregnant or breast-feeding or children under 2 years, seek supervision from a physician before use.
Side effects: None in recommended dose
Storage: Replace the cap tightly just after opening. Store in a cool and dry place.
