Tinoflam®
Alternative to NSAIDs
Composition:
Each capsule contains
extract of Tinospora cordifolia equivalent to Tinospora powder 1.5gm.
Active constituents:
- Alkaloids ; bitter diterpenoid
compounds such as Columbin, Tinosporin, Tinosporaside
and other alkaloid like Berberine.
- Glycosides ; such as
Cordifolioside A, B & C.
Tinospora cordifolia
Indications:

Inflammatory condition, arthritis, myositis, hepatitis and soft
tissue inflammation.

Immunoenhancement, increase production of antibody and white blood
cells.

Antioxidants, Antiaging and longevity.

Diabetes mellitus.
Side effects:
Unlike other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents, it has no side
effect on gastrointestinal tract and kidney.
Contraindication:
None.
Dosage:
One to two capsules three times daily after meal.
Preparation:
10 capsules in one strip,3 strips per box.Also available as 60 capsules bottle.
Pharmacological actions:

Anti-inflammatory action similar to NSAID.

Immunoenhancement and improve neutrophil function.

Anti-oxidant action by increasing the levels of glutathione and
vitamin C.

Anti-diabetic action similar to sulfonylurea.
- Hypolipidaemic action reducing serum cholesterol, phospholipid and
free fatty acid.
