DIABE-HERBฎ
Alternative to oral hypoglycemic agent
Composition:
Each capsule contains dried Momordica
charantia (Bitter melon) fruit powder 500 mg.
Pharmacological actions:
- Decrease glucose absorption
from the intestine.
- Increase number of b-cells in
the islet.
- Act as insulin (plant insulin).
- Increase tissue uptake of
glucose.
- Decrease insulin resistance.
- Imporve glucose tolerance.

Indications:
For prevention and treatment of Diabetes
mellitus.
Side effects:
Diabe-herbฎ has a wide margin of
safety. There will be no side effect in therapeutic dose.
Contraindication:
Pregnancy
Interaction:
Diabe-herbฎ has synergistic
hypoglycemic effect with insulin and additive hypoglycemic effect with
other oral hypoglycemic agents. Reduce the dose of these drugs when
use together with Diabe-herbฎ. Consult with physician for dose
adjustment. Diabe-herbฎ has no interaction with other drugs and
alcohol.
Advantages over oral hypoglycemic agent:
- no side effect.
- correct underlying cause of
terpene deficiency.
- can use long-term.
Dosage:
For Prevention - one capsule daily
half hour before meal.
For treatment - one to two
capsules three times daily half hour before meal.
Preparation:
60 capsules in one bottle.
